Securing, clamping and fixing

SITEMA GmbH & Co. KG specializes in the development and production of clamping units and linear brakes for round rods. SITEMA products are used as components in many branches of mechanical and plant engineering, with clear focus areas in presses, machine tools and automation technology.

As part of the "Digital Workshop Folder" project, we digitized the incoming inspection of clamping units sent to the plant for general overhaul. For this, we implemented a web-based application used on tablets in production.

The app supports the workshop team at SITEMA from the moment the returned component arrives — from the initial inspection and documentation of its condition, through an inspection report, all the way to the automated creation of spare parts lists that make repairs significantly easier.

The app was also integrated into SITEMA's existing system landscape; among other things, it communicates with the ERP system to retrieve component-specific information.
