The project.
The goal was to create, with the site manager app, a paperless and cross-platform solution for the internal organization of the project and construction management division at the Bruchsal site — from the initial quote all the way to the final invoice.
Excel spreadsheets and internal e-mail communication are no longer needed, since all processes can be handled through the app. This saves a great deal of time and considerably eases collaboration between the various parties involved.
Among other things, the app can be used to manage customers, communicate dates for construction acceptance inspections, or create and send contracts with subcontractors. A personalized dashboard provides an overview of the current status of the various work processes and gives early reminders of time-critical tasks — something that is especially important in the construction industry.
The frontend was built with Sencha ExtJS to enable intuitive operation. Symfony is used server-side to manage the data, generate PDF documents and send e-mails.
