Badisches Landesmuseum.

The project.

The Badisches Landesmuseum is the major cultural-history museum for the Baden region of Baden-Württemberg and is located in Karlsruhe Palace. It presents the culture of Baden in dialogue with testimonies of world cultures, with a focus on Europe. As part of a new corporate design, we redesigned, created, and implemented the website for both institutions in 2019. A click dummy allowed an impression of the future website to be created and the navigation concept to be tested even before technical implementation began.

The technical implementation was carried out with the CMS TYPO3. Special requirements included an event calendar with ticket purchase, an internal, protected press area, and multilingual support. An external online shop and the digital catalogue were each connected to the website and integrated via an API.

Standalone microsites with subdomains for the museum's special exhibitions can likewise be created with TYPO3.
